Adopted Dogs!!!

Read the bios on some of our dogs who have found their forever homes.

Ember:

Ember was adopted!

Ember was found as a stray in Riverside County. She is 8 months and a cattle dog through to the bone. She, like most cattle dogs, was not doing well at the animal shelter and was experiencing severe kennel stress. Growling and biting at staff, when we went to visit, staff would not pull her from the kennel for a meet and greet because they were afraid of her. We went ahead and pulled her anyways (she had the kindest eyes).

Ember was adopted by her new Mom shortly after she was pulled from the shelter and she is now living her best life in Colorado.

Bo:

Bo was adopted!

Bo came from a plea for fosters. He was found wandering the lower desert begging for food, he had been at that for a few weeks. We assume he was dumped :(

The organization Rescue Lyfe (@rescuelyfe_) picked him up and reached out to find a foster/adopter. This guy is the sweetest dog ever. He loves, loves people and other dogs. He smiles and gives hugs. He is great on the leash, potty trained, and crate trained. He will need a secure yard, as life is just too exciting for him not to want to get out and be involved. Needs work at thresholds as he is a bit of a bolter, out the door, car, gate, etc. He is super athletic, and will be a great adventure buddy (running, hiking, parkour 😆). He is also great at just relaxing in his bed after being fulfilled. Such a great dog!

Squid:

Squid was adopted!

Squid came from Western Riverside County Animal Control. He was red listed and on the euthanasia list. He was returned from an adoption, because of biting. As a eight month old heeler mix, if he wasn’t mouthy I would have been surprised. This guy loves people and other dogs. He is very fun to work with and he has many opinions :) He is your typical Heeler with tons of energy and all the smarts you could ask for. He is adorable (!) and small for a Heeler, so just this super cool little Heeler package.

Baya:

Baya was adopted!

Baya the beauty! Baya came from Yucca Valley Animal Shelter. First, she is beautiful! She is a very sweet girl, but it will take some time for a stranger to see this. She is very fearful at the moment. She is leash trained, spayed, and fully vaccinated. We are currently crate training her and showing her the world isn’t such a scary place. More to come as we learn about this girls personality.
